User research / Personas / Problem statements
User research
Initially, my project was a simple plant shop order flow, however after I interviewed some of my local flower shops about the impact the pandemic had on their businesses, most of them said the business is very slow even now. When I asked about the local farmers they said it’s very hard for them to bounce back after all this time, and the big chain supermarkets offer a considerable competition. I quickly came up with the idea of helping them with a space that offers plant delivery services which is connected to all the local flowers shops and nurseries in order to help small businesses thrive even in hard times like these. Each businesses gets to have a special account on the website where they put their products up to sale plus a small delivery fee.
Persona

Usability study: findings
The goal is figuring out if the art history app is easy to navigate for users and to see if the users are comprehending the study material successfully.
Round 1 findings
1. Adding customer review at each plant
Round 2 findings
1. It would be nice if customers would be able to log in on the website too, instead of having this option only for the distributors.
Mockups/ High-fidelity prototype
1. The welcoming page
2. Browsing our houseplants section.
To help the clients better browse our collection, I came uo with the idea of organising plants after categories. Even though plants are much more complex, I had in mind somebody that is buying their first plant and the first thing they see Is this website. So, how do you choose your first plant? After some research, I came up with the conclusion that a very wise move is to simply look at your environment and see firstly, if you have plenty of direct sunlight, if you have some light, but it depends on the time of the day, or it simply is a darker space with less light than usual. of course, each plant comes with their own care chart, which you will see later.
3. A fragment of the welcome page, with a short description of our mission.
4. The bestseller page for our most loved products.
5. A glimpse at the about you page
6. The account page
7. Plant review page
